Manufacturing Engineer, Electronics

We are seeking a self starting and innovative Manufacturing Engineer who wants to drive manufacturing initiatives and improvements. You will touch the entire process from DFM and commissioning, through manufacturing ramp and to testing and validation. The ideal candidate combines a strong engineering foundation with hands-on experience in mechanical and electronic assembly production. Process Innovation - Conceptualize, develop, and implement processes and improvements to new and existing products. - Analyze production workflows and identify areas for improvement to reduce waste, cost, and downtime. - Develop and document process parameters, SOPs, and quality control standards. Drone Production Support - Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues related to electromechanical assemblies and validation, such as PCB Assemblies, cable assembly, Antenna assembly and unit testing. - Facilitate day to day production support of drone production; mentor and guide technicians and engineers to best engineering practices to meet AS9100D ISO9001 defense manufacturing requirements. - Provide technical support during new product introduction (NPI) and engineering change implementations. Cross-functional Collaboration - Collaborate with R&D, Product Design, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability. - Participate in DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) reviews during product development. - Coordinate with vendors and contract manufacturers to ensure consistent production quality.
